Fall '94 Opening Night MSG Run
Alas, this show marks the start of the final MSG fall run. It's late '94, yes, but I really do think this was a solid six-night run. It's not spectacular, perhaps not as good as Boston, but there's some definite great moments and on the whole the band and Garcia sounds fully present. I agree with Stellablu122, there's something about this show and setlist that has that classic feel. Other than Touch and Foolish Heart, song selection is old school.

A nice little gem
Many folks will overlook this last fall tour but there are numerous noteworthy shows and this is a great example. You get a very upbeat and well played first set that features a great Loser and many upbeat Bobby songs with Masterpiece being the highlight. The last Duprees is very good and Let it Grow is very strong.
Set II is classic set on paper and is well played throughout. Jerry's performance of Foolish Heart is sung better lyrically than the the previous one in Boston and the band builds to a couple great peaks.
The PITB>UJB is soild with the Uncle John's being the highlight of the first half and then a nice 5 minute jam into drums.Jerry is on for this for sure.
The second half is high energy and well played and they close it out with one of my favorite encores Baby Blue.
